The Custis Family
The Custis Family moved to Washington in 1989. Tim, Wendy, and their children (Courtney, Cameron, & Collin)
have greatly enjoyed living in this community. Tim was raised in a family that was very active in their community when
he was growing up, and was taught to give back to the community in the best ways that you are able. Tim believes that
his expertise in school finance makes him an excellent choice for the board.
Tim is very fortunate to have a wife who is a Speech Therapist and currently working as a part time teacher at District
52. Wendy's experience as a teacher allows her to give Tim an educator's perspective on Board decisions.
The Custis Children
Courtney (29) is married to Aaron Vercler, and she is currently teaching music education classes part-time
at Eureka College. She spends the majority of her time with her two children, Levi (2) and Ezekiel (1).
Cameron (26) is an actuary working of Pekin Insurance Co and recently relocated back to Washington. He and his
wife Kristen are looking forward to raising a family in our fine community.
Collin (25) was recently married. He has attained his CPA and is working locally in public accounting. His
wife Jewel is a part-time teacher's aid at District 52 while she is completing her Masters degree at ISU.
